.Discussion...
No fire weather concerns across the district through the next
several days. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms this
evening will diminish overnight, with lightning and outflow winds
50 to 55 mph possible. More widespread showers and thunderstorms
are expected Wednesday through Saturday, with Wednesday and
Thursday seeing the best chance for heavy rainfall, especially over
the eastern mountains and southeast plains. Thunderstorm coverage
then starts to diminish by next Sunday and Monday. Temperatures
will cool significantly Wednesday and Thursday, before slowly
returning to near or slightly above average levels over the
weekend.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will be good or better on Wednesday,
before falling back into the fair to good range on Thursday
as transport winds decrease.
