.Discussion...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected over the next
several days as humidity values will remain elevated and winds
relatively light. Moisture will remain in place through Saturday
before a drying trend sets in for late weekend into early next week.
This will mean scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms for
today and Saturday before storms trend to more isolated coverage for
Sunday into early next week. Locally heavy rainfall will be
possible with storms today and Friday, with a few strong to severe
storms possible across the southeast plains.
Temperatures will remain at or slightly below seasonal averages
the next several days.
Smoke dispersion rates today and tomorrow will be Fair to Good
across the district, with pockets of Poor rates across the district
as well.
