Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
656 AM MDT Tue Jun 25 2024

.Discussion...

Hot temperatures will continue today across the district with
critically low afternoon humidity values but light winds. Isolated
high based cloud buildups and localized showers and thunderstorms
will be possible this afternoon and evening. These could bring gusty
outflow winds up to 50 mph but little to no rainfall. These will be
more sparse in coverage today than yesterday.

Increasing moisture will bring better chances for showers and
thunderstorms capable of producing wetting rain to the district
beginning Wednesday. Temperatures will remain hot until a stronger
cold front brings a cool down for the weekend. It will dry out and
heat up again next week.

Afternoon smoke ventilation rates will rise into the good to
excellent category across the district both today and Wednesday.
