.Discussion...
Warmer and drier weather remains in the offing through the early portion
of the week, as upper level ridging builds across the Great Basin. This
will lead to drier northerly flow aloft across the region, with isolated
to widely scattered thunderstorms confined to higher terrain. Temperatures
will warm back to around seasonal level through the middle of the week.
The ridge flattens across the area towards the end of the week, bringing
in cooler temperatures and better chances of daily showers and storms
areawide through next weekend.
Smoke dispersion will be good or better across the entire district
this afternoon and again on Tuesday.
