.Discussion...
No fire weather concerns across the district through the next
several days. The main concerns for today will be hot temperatures,
well into the 90s to lower 100 across the Plains. Isolated to
scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast over the mountains,
with lightning and outflow winds 50 to 55 mph possible. More
widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday through
Saturday. Lightning and heavy rainfall are possible through this
period, with initial development over the mountains, and eastward
progression into the Plains during the evenings. Thunderstorm
coverage looks to diminish by next Sunday and Monday.
Smoke dispersions will be poor this morning, becoming very good by
early afternoon. A return to poor dispersions is forecast tonight.
