.Discussion...
An active monsoon pattern will continue through Saturday with
scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms each day. Locally
heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding will be the
primary concern through then, though an isolated strong to severe
storm or two will be possible across the southeast plains. Drier
air gradually spreads in for late weekend into early next week.
There will be sufficient residual moisture over the region for
isolated to scattered thunderstorms each day, with the best
chances over the mountains. Temperatures will remain at or below
seasonal normals.
Afternoon dispersions will rise into the fair to good range for
most areas on Thursday, with improvement into the very good range
across the southwest mountains and San Luis Valley on Friday.
