Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
234 PM MDT Sun Sep 22 2024

.Discussion...

Warmer and drier weather returns Monday and persists for
all of the week, with temperatures warming back to near or
slightly above seasonal averages through the period. There
will be a slight chance for thunderstorms over the mountains
Monday afternoon and evening, though wetting rainfall is not
expected.

Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach fair to good levels on
Monday at most locations, then improves to good or better across
the district on Tuesday as mixing increases.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
