.Discussion...
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the next
seven days. Near seasonal temperatures and dry weather are expected
for today through Friday, with a series of weather systems moving in
through the weekend. Impacts from colder temperatures are expected
from around Saturday through Tuesday, with impactful snow likely for
the high country. Snow will also be possible on the plains, with
highest chances for lower elevation snow coming in from the late
Sunday into Monday timeframe.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will vary greatly across the district
today, with generally poor rates for the plains and for the San Luis
Valley, and fair to good rates over the eastern mountains and the La
Garitas. Very good rates are likely over the central mountains,
Fremont, and Teller County. Rates will be poor for most zones
tomorrow.
