.Discussion...
No meteorological fire weather concerns through the next several
days across the district. The upper pattern will favor broad
southerly flow across Colorado due to high pressure over the
southeast US and an upper low over the Pacific Northwest. Several
upper waves embedded in the southerly flow will lead to increasing
moisture and shower and thunderstorm coverage by mid to late week.
In addition a cold front will arrive on Tuesday morning with relief
from the heat across the district. Long range guidance does bring
drier air into the region by the weekend and less precipitation
coverage across the area. Flash flooding risks on area burn scars
will increase, especially Wednesday through Friday.
Poor smoke dispersions this morning will give way to good conditions
across portions of the Plains and very good conditions across western
portions of the district. A return to poor dispersions are forecast
for tonight.
