.Discussion...
Critical fire weather is not likely for the next several days. We
will be dry today and tomorrow, but winds look to remain below
critical thresholds. Chances for rain and snow increase from Sunday
onwards into the beginning of next week, especially for the high
country. At this time, highest amounts look to be over the San
Juans, where there is around an 80% chance of at least 6 inches, and
upwards of 8 to 10 inches possible. Lesser amounts of around 2 to 4
inches are likely for our other ranges from Sunday evening through
Monday morning. Cooler temperatures are anticipated from Sunday into
much of next week, with off and on chances for rain and snow,
especially over the high country, persisting as well.
Afternoon smoke dispersions for today will be poor across all lower
elevation zones, with fair or better rates for most mountain zones.
For tomorrow, poor rates are likely over the high country, with fair
to good rates over much of the plains.
