.Discussion...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected across the district
for the next seven days.
For Monday through Wednesday, generally dry and mild weather is
expected across the region, though an occasional brief period of
snow showers and flurries will be possible over the higher peaks
of the central mountains. Winds will begin to increase again
over the mountains, especially Tuesday and Wednesday. Arctic air
may briefly push into the eastern plains Thursday and Friday,
bringing the potential for much colder temperatures and some
light snow, though confidence in this solution is still rather
low. For next weekend, milder air and dry conditions are expected
to return.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will stay fair to poor at most
locations on both Monday and Tuesday, though a few spots over the
higher terrain may briefly reach good levels for couple hours in
the afternoon each day.
