.Discussion...
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the next
seven days. A cold front coming through this morning will keep
temperatures cooler than normal for daytime highs today, with most
areas remaining in the 40s. We`ll also see chances for a dusting of
snow across the central mountains. Dry weather with near normal
temperatures is expected for Wednesday through Friday.
A pattern change still looks likely through the weekend. Much colder
temperatures are expected, along with snow chances for the
mountains, and also possibly for the plains as well.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will vary greatly across the district
today and tomorrow. In general, poor rates are expected over the San
Luis Valley and the mountain adjacent plains. Rates look to be fair
to good for some of the high country and portions of the eastern
plains. Please see specific zone forecast below for better details!
