.DISCUSSION...
For the area of interest, scattered to numerous showers and
storms are expected today and through tomorrow. With a rich surge
of monsoonal moisture still in place, showers and storms may be
ongoing consistently around the burn area, with the greatest
coverage this afternoon and again tomorrow afternoon. Greatest
hazards from any storms will be heavy rainfall and flash flooding,
gusty outflow winds to around 35 mph, and lightning. Winds will
maintain an overall southerly component through today, with
sustained winds around 8-11 mph, and occasional wind gusts up to
20 mph. Winds lessen tonight, and become more light and variable,
with winds around 6-7 mph. Winds then take on a more westerly
component tomorrow, with sustained winds again around 8-11 mph,
with the occasional gusts up to 20 mph. Humidity values will
follow a typical diurnal trend, with lowest values during the
afternoons, and highest values overnight. Values this afternoon
will fall to around 75-77 percent, increase to around 90-92
percent tonight, and then fall to around 55-57 percent Friday
afternoon.
