.DISCUSSION...

Today and tomorrow bring another couple of hot days, with
temperatures above seasonal values for late August, with
temperatures hovering around 97-98 degrees. In addition, both days
bring a chance for showers and storms, especially Sunday, with
the greatest coverage between 3-10 PM MDT each day. Any storm will
have a lightning risk, and stronger storms may produce heavy
rainfall, strong wind gusts to 60 mph, and large hail up to 1
inch. Storms will be more scattered in nature, so while the fair
location may not be directly impacted, they will be within the
vicinity of the location of the fair. Along with that, gusty
outflow winds may still impact the location even outside of
thunderstorms.
