Occasional rain showers expected today, with a chance for a thunderstorm
this afternoon. Rainfall amounts through the daytime hours today will be
fairly light, generally one-two tenths of an inch. Steadier and heavier
rain expected overnight and through the day on Wednesday, with over
2 inches of rainfall possible by early Thursday morning. A slight chance
for a thunderstorm will continue through the period as well. North
winds will increase across the area late tonight and into Wednesday, with
gusts over 30 mph likely.
