.DISCUSSION...

No precipitation in the area tonight. Looking at the latest gauge
trends, the Rio Grande has fallen below Minor Flood Stage at
Monte Vista, with the Del Norte gauge below action stage.

Tomorrow will see highs in the low-50s, with increasing clouds
moving in ahead of a quick-moving system. Late tomorrow afternoon,
after 4pm or so, isolated to scattered showers will move through
the area, lasting into Weds Night and leaving the area by Thursday
morning. New rain totals are currently expected to be a tenth of
an inch or less, with most of the precipitation falling downstream
from the forecast point.

Peak water levels are expected to move into Alamosa early
tomorrow evening as well, peaking into Minor Flood Stage and
dropping back down by Friday morning. Already inundated areas
could continue to see impacts for another few days as water slowly
recedes.

Drier weather is expected the rest of the week, with temperatures
warming slightly into this weekend.
