.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible through this evening with
the potential of producing locally heavy rainfall. Although thunderstorm
coverage will not be as widespread as yesterday, if a storm does impact
the burn scar, localized flash flooding will be possible. Otherwise,
winds will be dominated by northwesterly directions until decoupling and
decreasing later this evening. Drier air will work in from the west for
Friday. Some cumulus build ups will be possible Friday afternoon though
any thunderstorms are more likely to stay east of the fire area. Winds
will pick up again from the northwest around 10 to 20 mph in the
afternoon and evening.
It will trend warmer and remain mostly dry Saturday through Monday, with
another uptick in thunderstorms expected towards the middle of next week.
