.DISCUSSION...

Precipitation in the immediate area has come to an end. However,
areas with elevated flows and ongoing floods will continue to see
impacts through at least the next 24 hours or so.

Looking at the latest gauge trends, the Conejos River near Mogote
remains in Moderate Flood Stage, having just recently fallen
below Major Flood Stage. The latest river forecast shows the site
remaining in flood stage until around midday on Tuesday. The San
Antonio River near Manassa is currently in Minor Flood stage, and
is expected to remain there into tonight.

Again, while flows should attenuate as they travel downstream,
elevated flows, lingering floodwaters, and remaining impacts will
be possible throughout the day tomorrow and, depending on the
area, into the middle of this week as well. That being said, no
additional precipitation is expected on Tuesday or Tuesday Night,
though Wednesday will see chances for weak, scattered showers.
