.DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will be more isolated this afternoon and evening though
some brief localized heavy rainfall and gusty outflow winds up to 40
mph will be possible.  The warmest day will be today.  Temperatures
will cool slightly with another uptick in thunderstorm chances for the
weekend into early next week as monsoon moisture returns to the region.
Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms will become more likely with time as
the atmosphere moistens up again.  Winds will remain light downslope/
downvalley overnight into the early morning hours before increasing
from the northwest at around 10-20 mph each afternoon.

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny(37 percent) until 1700, then
                    mostly cloudy. Slight chance of rain showers
                    and thunderstorms after 1300.
Max temperature.....69-74F.
Min humidity........19-24 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........West 5-10 mph until 1200, then northwest 8-18 mph
                    mph until 1500, then northeast. Gusty and
                    erratic winds expected near thunderstorms after
                    1300.
