.DISCUSSION...

Additional showers and thunderstorms are near certain this
afternoon into tonight as another weather disturbance moves across
southern Colorado. Another 0.25 to 0.75 inch of rain is
anticipated through midnight tonight. However, over in the
mountains, temperatures have cooled down, and any precip above
9000 feet will likely fall as snow. Although there will be some
additional runoff, the rain is not expected to cause additional
significant flooding.

Any rain or snow  over the mountains is expected to completely end
by late Sunday morning.

An extended period of dry weather is expected through mid week.

NOTE: the Conejos river at Mogote continues to fall and was at 6.7
feet at around 12 noon. It is expected to go below flood stage
around 6 pm tomorrow (Sunday).
