.DISCUSSION...

For the area of interest, scattered to numerous showers and
storms are expected today and through tomorrow. With a rich surge
of monsoonal moisture, showers and storms may be ongoing
consistently around the burn area, with the greatest coverage this
afternoon and into the early overnight hours. Greatest hazards
from any storms will be heavy rainfall and flash flooding, gusty
outflow winds to around 35 mph, and lightning. Winds will hold an
overall southerly component through tomorrow, with sustained winds
around 8-11 mph, and occasional wind gusts up to 20 mph. Humidity
values will follow a typical diurnal trend, with lowest values
during the afternoons, and highest values overnight. Values this
afternoon will fall to around 48-51 percent, increase to around
82-85 percent tonight, and then fall to around 63-65 percent
Thursday afternoon.
