.DISCUSSION...
Winds will be very light through the forecast period. The speeds
and directions that are noted below will be for exposed ridges,
with most lower elevations following upvalley flows during the
daytime hours and downvalley drainages at night. Down in Mill
Creek, this would primarily mean southwest winds upvalley during
the day and weak northeast winds down valley at night. Daytime
relative humidity values look to fall into the low 30% range on
Wednesday, with recoveries into the 70% range or so early
Wednesday morning, and recovery closer to 60% for Thursday
morning. A gradual warming and drying trend can be expected
through Friday, with Friday being the warmest and driest day of
the next several. At this time, winds appear to be too weak to
warrant fire weather concerns for Friday, but it will likely be
very dry near the fire that day. Showers and thunderstorms are not
likely until around the Friday night into Saturday timeframe. A
pattern change arrives through the weekend bringing cooler and
wetter weather.
