.DISCUSSION...

Another uptick in showers and thunderstorms can be expected for Friday and
Saturday as another brief round of monsoon moisture spreads into the region.
Thunderstorms will be possible on Friday which could produce some light snow
or graupel accumulations at the peak which could linger into Saturday morning.
Snow levels will likely be around 13,500 feet. Temperatures should stay above
freezing most of the route up on Saturday though the Summit could still be icy
as temperatures drop to around freezing Friday night. Saturday will see that
melt off pretty quickly with another round of showers and thunderstorms during
the afternoon. Snow levels will be quite high, around 13,500 feet and although
it won`t be a sustained snow, some brief rounds of snow or graupel will be
possible as thunderstorms pass overhead.

I would highly suggest submitting another spot request closer to the event to
get better timing on when thunderstorms will start on Saturday, as these details
will become more clear around 24 hours before the event start. Please feel free
to call if you have any questions.
