.DISCUSSION...

A front will move in this morning, turning gusty winds, around 40
mph, out of the north over lower Pueblo County, while winds over the
higher terrain remain mostly light and out of the west. After the
front moves past, gusty winds will back off, turning east-southeast
over most of the burn scar this afternoon. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms are expected in the area this afternoon as well,
though chances for anything over the burn scar are only around 10%.
Showers should move to the east fairly quickly, though any
meaningful rainfall will still carry a flash flooding risk for the
burn scar. In addition to potential rainfall, storms could produce
outflow winds around 40 mph and lightning. Best chance for
showers/storms (still only 10-15%) will be mainly between 3-7PM.

Winds will weaken overnight, becoming more variable. RH will recover
to over 70%, with low temperatures in the 50s-60s.

Sunday will be warmer, with highs in the 80s to low-90s, and
afternoon RH around 20%. Winds will be similar to today, with
southeasterly flow over lower Pueblo county, and breezy southwest
winds over the higher slopes.
