.DISCUSSION...

Main concern for you folks will be the increasing winds over the
ridge-line today. The winds below in the hour-by-hour plot are
likely underdone a bit, and believe they will be from the
southwest at 25 to 35 mph through early evening, then decreasing.

As for thunder today, it will be few and far between, but I cannot
rule it out. Any storms should move through pretty quickly.
Overall best chances will be between 3 pm and 6 pm.
