The heaviest snow will impact the eastern San Juan Mountains where some light to moderate accumulations of 4 to 10 inches will be possible. The Sawatch and Mosquito ranges along with the higher Sangre De Cristo mountains could see up to 4 inches through Monday. Gusty southwest to west winds will impact the higher peaks and passes beginning Sunday night with gusts to around 50 mph possible along the southern I-25 corridor late Sunday Night through Monday morning with gusts close to 70 mph across the eastern slopes of the southern Sangre De Cristo mountains. The weather pattern will remain active through next week with another system expected to impact the area Wednesday and Thursday bringing more light snow to the mountains, and some isolated rain showers to the southeast plains. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
