This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Pacific weather system will bring snow to the higher elevations
of the mountains today. Accumulating snow is likely, mainly above
10000 feet during the day, decreasing to around 7500 feet
tonight. Some thunder will be possible in the San Juan mountain
region this afternoon. Accumulations of 4 to 8 inches of snow will
be possible, mainly above 10000 feet.

Some snow flakes will be possible across northern El Paso county
tonight. Any light accumulations will be mainly on grassy
surfaces.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Some snow showers may linger over the higher elevations of the
Pikes Peak region early Friday morning.

Another Pacific weather system will have the potential to bring
more snow to all of the mountains across southern and southeast
Colorado starting on Sunday and lasting into Monday. Some snow may
also occur over northern El Paso county Sunday night.

Colder weather will move into the region for the Thanksgiving time
period. Although it is expected to be mainly dry, some periods of
snow will be possible across the central mountains Wednesday.

be likely over portions of the region.
