This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A Pacific storm system will move across Colorado in the Wednesday
night through Thursday night timeframe, bringing the potential for
moderate snow accumulations to areas along the Continental Divide,
especially the southwest mountains.

As this system moves east through the day Thursday, rain showers and
higher elevation snow showers, will become likely across southeastern
Colorado. There will also be the potential for a few thunderstorms
across the southeast plains Thursday afternoon and evening, with the
main threat from any thunderstorm being cloud to ground lightning
and gusty outflow winds.

Gusty northernly winds look to develop across the region Thursday
night, leading to the potential for wind driven snowfall across
the Palmer Divide and Raton Mesa, before rain and snow showers end
from northwest to southeast Friday morning.

Light accumulating snowfall will also be possible Saturday night
into early Sunday morning across the Continental Divide.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters will not be needed today or tonight.
