Snow melt peak is past but high flows will continue along portions
of the Arkansas River

High flows and elevated river levels will continue due to snow melt
and reservoir releases.  River levels have been trending down in the
high country as the peak snow melt has passed, but cold swift water
can still be dangerous.  The river will continue to run near bank
full at Avondale for the next several days.  River banks may be
unstable.  Please use caution in and near the river.
