...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL COSTILLA COUNTY THROUGH
745 PM MDT...

At 718 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fort Garland, or 22 miles east of San Luis Valley Airport, moving
south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy rain, wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Blanca and Fort Garland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
