...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PROWERS...CENTRAL
KIOWA AND NORTHEASTERN BENT COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM MDT...
At 852 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles west of Eads, or 34 miles northwest of Lamar, moving southeast
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rain and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Eads, Neeoshe Reservoir, Neegronda Reservoir, Queens Reservoir, and
Sweetwater Reservoir.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
