...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN EL PASO COUNTY
THROUGH 1230 PM MDT...

At 1155 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a landspout near Monument, or 19 miles north of
Colorado Springs, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 50 mph, and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

Locations impacted include...
Monument, Air Force Academy, Black Forest, and Gleneagle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
