Winds may briefly diminish below gale- force Thu afternoon. Fresh to strong winds will then persist in the Gulf of Tehuantepec into early Sat before diminishing. Moderate to fresh winds will pulse in the Gulf of California into mid-week, briefly strong at times, with fresh to strong winds possible in the northern Gulf this weekend as a cold front approaches. Rough seas in large NW swell offshore the Baja California peninsula and southward to the Revillagigedo Islands will subside today.
