.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Five-E is near 10.6N
91.7W at 2 PM PDT, and is moving west-northwest at 7 kt. Maximum
sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt, and the minimum
central pressure is 1009 mb. Five-E will move to 11.1N 92.4W Tue
morning, 11.8N 93.1W Tue afternoon, 12.6N 94.1W Wed morning,
13.5N 95.1W Wed afternoon, 14.5N 96.1W Thu morning, and 15.8N
97.4W Thu afternoon. Five-E will move inland near 17.0N 98.7W by
Fri afternoon. Elsewhere, high pressure well northwest of the
area will support pulsing moderate to fresh N-NW winds across the
Baja California Norte offshore waters through the week. Rough NW
to N swell will build into the Baja waters this evening through
the week. Moderate to fresh southerly winds will prevail across
the Gulf of California tonight through Tue, with strong speeds in
the northern Gulf through this afternoon. Winds will be mainly
moderate or weaker elsewhere through the week.
