The Flood Watch will expire for a portion of central North Carolina, including the following areas, Alamance, Anson, Chatham, Cumberland, Davidson, Durham, Edgecombe, Forsyth, Franklin, Granville, Guilford, Halifax, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Nash, Orange, Person, Randolph, Richmond, Sampson, Scotland, Stanly, Vance, Wake, Warren, Wayne and Wilson. While rain continues across portions of central NC this morning, the threat of widespread flash flooding is coming to an end. Therefore, the Flood Watch will expire at 2 AM EDT early this morning. $$
