Minor overflow occurs on both banks. Water reaches the edge of the Neuse River Greenway trail. At 10.0 feet, Upstream of the gage site, the Neuse River Greenway at Covered Bridge Road begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 10.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:15 AM EDT Wednesday was 10.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.6 feet this morning.
