This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Heat indices may reach 95 to 100 degrees on Wednesday and again in
the south and east on Thursday.

In addition, scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are possible
Thursday afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will soar to potentially dangerously high levels this
weekend into next week. Some of the hottest temperatures and heat
indices of the year (so far) are expected with afternoon highs in the
upper 90s, while heat index values may approach 105 degrees.
