...NOAA Weather Radio station remains off the air...

NOAA Weather Radio station WNG-706, located in Garner and
serving the eastern Piedmont and central coastal plain on
162.450 MHZ, remains off the air due to a problem with the
communications line. Technicians continue to work on the problem,
but a return-to-service time is currently unknown. We regret any
inconvenience this may cause.

During this time, the transmitter cannot be restored within an
hour.
