Patchy Black Ice tonight and early Tuesday...

The melting snow today has created water runoff across area roads.
This runoff will quickly refreeze during the evening hours as
temperatures fall below freezing by mid-evening in many rural
areas. Motorists should continue to be cautious and slow down to
due to the expected black ice. It will be a cold day Tuesday.
Temperatures will not reach above 32 until late morning across
northern North Carolina.
