NORTHERN SAMPSON...CENTRAL CUMBERLAND AND SOUTH CENTRAL JOHNSTON
COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM EDT...
At 257 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Godwin to 6 miles southeast of
Fayetteville. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Godwin, Eastover, Stedman, Newton Grove, Wade,
Salemburg, Falcon, Autryville, and Hobbton.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
