* At 634 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest
  of Pittsboro, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, Pittsboro,
  Garner, Carrboro, Goldston, and RDU International.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 166 and 185.
 Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 260 and 296.

Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage
