.DISCUSSION...

Cool and dry conditions with light winds prevail into Monday. An early
season storm arrives Monday afternoon, bringing periods of mountain
snow, valley rain, and breezy winds through midweek. Considerable snowfall
is likely in the Sierra from Tahoe into Mono County. A drying trend ends
the week with cooler than normal temperatures lasting through the weekend.
