.DISCUSSION...
Warm temperatures continue with afternoon highs approaching records
today and Saturday. The warm temperatures will help ventilation rates
reach good to excellent in the afternoons. The probability for showers
and isolated thunderstorms along the Sierra crests and south of US-50
through Saturday is less than 5%. A storm system may bring gusty winds,
cooler temperatures, as well as rain and mountain snow showers by early
next week.
