...ELEVATED FIRE CONDITIONS FOR THE LOWER ELEVATIONS OF MONO COUNTY DUE
TO GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...
.DISCUSSION...
Dry and warm conditions along with morning valley inversions continue
through tomorrow. Gusty winds from the southwest return on Wednesday,
especially over the Sierra and western NV mountains. These gusts along
with low humidity values in the lower elevations of Mono result in
elevated fire conditions Wednesday afternoon. Active weather continues
Wednesday night through Friday morning with cooler temperatures, strong
winds, valley rain and Sierra snow.
