...INCREASING CHANCES FOR A MIX OF WET AND DRY THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY...
.DISCUSSION...
Warm and dry conditions along with generally poor overnight recoveries
persist today. There is less than a 10% chance for storms in the eastern
Sierra. Tuesday has the best chances of elevated and fast-moving hybrid
thunderstorms capable of producing dry lightning, gusty outflow winds and
brief periods of moderate to heavy rain. Rain and storm chances persist
through most of the week but remain mostly below 20%. Potential for gusty
winds return this weekend for the mountains, far NW NV and NE CA.
