.DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered showers and storms continuing to develop in the
afternoon and persisting into the evening. Storms will be capable of
dry lightning, gusty outflow winds, and brief periods of moderate to
heavy rainfall. The highest chances for critical fire weather
conditions due to dry lightning will be in northeast CA and northern
Washoe County. Shower and thunderstorm activty will persist through
much of the week but with reduced chances, although heavy rainfall
will continue to be a risk. Shower and storm activity contracts to
the east over the weekend, with a cooler, but drier and windier
westerly flow.
