Active weather is expected with some breaks through the weekend and
early next week. The main concerns today will be gusty winds, rain
and snow above 8 to 10 kft over the Sierra, NE CA and western NV.
Winds decrease by Friday, but remain elevated on mountain ridges.
Periods or valley rain and mountain snow are expected to continue
into early next week.
