High pressure will start to weaken by late Monday, allowing for a
slow cooling trend to start the week. There is a chance for
showers in northeast California and far northwest Nevada late
Monday and Tuesday, otherwise the remainder of the area remains
dry. By Wednesday, the next storm will bring a round of gusty
winds, rain, and higher elevation snowfall.
