Discussion for Susanville, Quincy, and Camino

Quiet conditions will prevail through Monday with generally warm
and dry conditions continuing. Then a favorable thunderstorm
pattern develops that could result in a hybrid mix of wet and dry
thunderstorms which will be capable for producing a few dry
lightning strikes, brief periods of moderate to heavy rain, and
gusty outflow winds.

Discussion for SF and Inyo
100 PM PDT Sun Aug 31 2025

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon
across portions of Mono and northern Inyo county. Otherwise,
expect warm and dry conditions through Monday. Tuesday will see
the best chances of elevated and fast-moving hybrid (wet/dry mix)
thunderstorms capable of producing a few dry lightning strikes
and brief periods of moderate to heavy rain.
