ECC004-272100-
Lassen NF and BLM in Modoc, Lassen, and Washoe Counties-
Discussion for Susanville
157 PM PDT Wed Jun 26 2024

A dry cold front will bring gusty southwest winds and lower humidity
through this evening, causing critical fire weather for lower elevations
of western Washoe, eastern Lassen, and the Surprise Valley. It will
be much drier Thursday and Friday with poor midslope recoveries.
Another trough will bring afternoon southwest breezes back to the
area this weekend.

Enough moisture will remain for isolated thunderstorms this
afternoon, mainly south of Mammoth Lakes. A dry cold front will
then bring locally breezy west to northwest winds and lower
humidity through Thursday. Temperatures will remain slightly above
average into the weekend with typical afternoon breezes.
