ECC004-009-242100-
Lassen NF and BLM in Modoc, Lassen, and Washoe Counties-Plumas NF-
Discussion for Susanville and Quincy
151 PM PDT Sun Jun 23 2024

Hot, dry conditions continue into early next week with poor mid-
slope recovery and afternoon breezes. The low RH and gusty winds
will produce critical levels into the evening, primarily in Modoc
and northern Washoe counties. A low pressure system will bring
enhanced winds by Wednesday, and with the low humidities,
critical fire weather is possible for eastern Lassen, eastern
Modoc, and Washoe counties.

Hot and dry conditions continue into early next week with poor

Scattered showers with isolated thunder is possible for areas
south of US-50 in the Sierra on Tuesday. A low pressure system
will bring enhanced winds by Wednesday with slightly cooler
temperatures and continued dry conditions.

Sierra Front in Alpine county-
Inyo NF, Mono County and Owens Valley-
Discussion for SF and Inyo
151 PM PDT Sun Jun 23 2024

Conditions remain dry for most of the area despite recent
moisture in the area. While some localized areas may see wetting
rains in the coming days, most areas will not. Thunderstorm
development will bring concerns from lightning starts to outflow
winds possibly spreading them rapidly. Expect temperatures well
above normal and light winds through Wednesday.
